Hurt Locker

Husky fans, back me up on this.  Every time you see a headline about the movie Hurt Locker — and there have been a lot lately — your brain only processes those keywords and assumes QB Jake Locker has been injured somehow.
Haven’t seen the movie, but already don’t like it for that reason.

Brooklyn House Reunion

Four-sixths of our college house reunited in Seattle this weekend to watch the Huskies dominate Cal in their last game of the season.  We spent some time at the Duch, tailgated on Saturday, and had a victorious good time.  And apparently we were on TV, but I didn’t see it.

Not sure why AZ was throwing on first down instead of running some clock with the lead and three minutes left, but this was just incredible!

George Carlin Baseball vs. Football

This is an oldie but a goodie, and thought I would share as the baseball season winds down and in advance of the Huskies visit to South Bend tomorrow.  Hopefully they have better luck stopping the “sustained ground attack” against the Irish than they did against Stanford.

Weekend Haps

It was a great weekend, full of victories both large (amazing UW-USC upset) and small (unclogging my sink).  Wished we were in Seattle to rush the field:

We also squeezed in an A’s game, two BBQs, a 6-mile run (my longest since my half marathon), and softball.
