Laundry Room Geisha

This fine lady has been greeting me all week every time I pass through the laundry room.

She is a rare and valuable family heirloom that is being transported to southern California. We took her the first part of her journey on our drive back from Seattle. Unfortunately we don’t have much space, so she’s been guarding the washer and dryer this week. It would have been great to put her right in the living room and watch people’s reactions to our new decor.
I think someone is coming to get her this weekend to take her the rest of the way to her new home. She’ll be missed.

She reminds me of the one that guards our staff stations at work.
