Tomorrow I’m off on another South American adventure, meeting up with Chris in Buenos Aires Saturday morning.  We’ve got a week to explore the country before rendezvous-ing with dad in Bariloche for some August Patagonian skiing.

Time to dust off the old español, avoid the swine flu and tango-ing seductresses, get fat and happy from parillas and malbec, and blend in with the locals like only three 6-ft gringos can.

Sounds like a great trip! I may be following in your footsteps soon to try to conquer mt. aconcagua.

Let me know if you go, that’s a serious climb. Doesn’t sound super technical but at almost 23,000 ft just walking is probably brutal. And apparently it takes like 2 weeks… you only get to start at 8000ft. But have fun with that!
