Skiing on a Monday

A little Sierra pow and a little California sunshine made for a nice Monday away from the “office.” Bryn and I headed up to Dodge Ridge yesterday for a day of skiing. It was my first day on my new (used) boards and they worked out great. There was lots of corduroy to be carved as well as some untouched deep stuff. No crowds, but slow lifts.
The name Dodge Ridge reminded me of a boring run at Snoqualmie with the same name. They took out the Dodge Ridge chair to make room for the Central Express, but a name-change doesn’t change the flat-tree-less hill.
